School District 59 Names New Assistant Principal

The School District 59 Board of Education, during the June 25, 2012 regular Board of Education meeting, approved the appointment of Kalie Printz to the position of Assistant Principal at Juliette Low Elementary School in Arlington Heights, with an official start date of July 1, 2012.  

Mrs. Printz is completing her fourth year as a Bilingual Teacher at Juliette Low. During her time at the school, Mrs. Printz has taught first grade, third grade, and a 4/5 multi-grade class. In addition, she has been instrumental in the school’s work toward improving the Bilingual Instructional Program and in making connections to the Hispanic parent population. Mrs. Printz also implemented a bi-monthly parent/student education program as well as organized and led 10 summer educational field trips for families.

Mrs. Printz received a B.A. in International Affairs from Gordon College in Massachusetts and a Masters in Education from North Park University.

Dr. Daniel Schweers, Superintendent of Schools, stated, “It is with a great deal of pleasure that I recommend Kalie Printz for the assistant principal position at Juliette Low School. The members of the Superintendency Team and I look forward to the contributions she will make as we all strive to continue on our journey of excellence.”
