Welcome General Education Teachers
This is a site designed for teachers who teach in the general education classroom but may have questions about how to best meet the needs of English Language Learners. On this site you will find lots of resources to help you as you design and implement lessons to reach all kids. Check out the WIDA resources to design lessons that are appropriate for the English levels of your students. Also, the forms and documents on the right side of your screen are for your use and will help you to better understand what an ELL is and how the ELL program is designed. Also, feel free to look at any of the information on the Bilingual Instruction or ESL Instruction pages as there may be other information you would find useful.
