CLASS RULES
All students are expected to follow all Class Rules at all times.
These rules were agreed upon by all students, parents, and myself at
the beginning of the year.
1. Respect yourself and others.
2. Keep your room and school clean (No food or gum will be allowed!)
3. Be on time to class with ALL needed materials.
4. Follow directions and procedures the FIRST time.
5. Come to class ready to learn, be safe, and have fun.
CLASS SUPPLY LIST
ALL students are expected to bring basic supplies to class EVERY DAY. These include:
- pen & pencil
- SPIRAL notebook
- Science binder OR folder, for SCIENCE only, and
- any worksheets we are working on
- charged Chromebook
Other materials may be needed upon request of the teacher.
EX: calculator, colored pencils, markers, etc
SAFETY RULES
Safety Rules are of the utmost importance in a Science classroom because of the dangers involved. We will be using chemicals, fire, glassware, and electricity, so it is always vital to follow Safety Rules. The following are the Top 6 General Safety Rules to follow as compiled by my classes.
- No horseplay!
- Follow all instructions
- Use proper dress code (wear goggles, NO open-toed shoes on lab days, no hanging jewelry, sleeves, etc)
- Dispose of all materials properly
- Clean all equipment as instructed before finishing
- Wash your hands after a lab activity
