Got2Run for Education - Coming Soon!
The D59 Education Foundation just wrapped up its 4th annual D59’s Got Talent event with great success this past Saturday, and all the proceeds from the show will benefit students in CCSD59’s schools. But did you know another D59 Education Foundation event is coming soon in May?
Every year, the D59 Education Foundation also helps sponsor the Got2Run for Education event, which also helps raise money for CCSD59 schools. It’s not too late to register! It’s a fun 2.62 or 4.97 mile walk or run, and gives students, families, staff, and community members the chance to interact, enjoy a (hopefully!) beautiful morning, and raise funds for our schools’ important health programs all at the same time.
This year’s event is on Saturday, May 19, and it begins at 8:00 am at 200 E. Sigwalt Street in Arlington Heights. Show your support of your school, your district, your community, and perhaps most importantly, your child’s awareness of the importance of staying fit and healthy!
