Christina Hoblin - 59 in :59
Christina Hoblin, who teaches band and orchestra at six of the eleven elementary schools in CCSD59, is someone whose life has always been influenced by music.
Christina’s mother was a teacher and she grew up knowing the value of education. She enjoyed the idea of teaching music so much she almost couldn’t believe she could get paid to do it. Some of her own most influential teachers were those who taught her music, and she wanted to be that teacher to her own students. She stresses to them that working hard while learning doesn’t prevent it from being fun.
