The mission of the Bilingual Parents Advisory Committee is to help parents learn effective ways to support their children’s academic success and to share information about helpful school and community programs.
Illinois school code requires a BPAC to be established for districts with Transitional Bilingual Education programs (serving 20+ students with the same home language). The BPAC committee meets at least four times a year to work alongside administrators and staff to create programs and plan activities that encourage parent/guardian involvement in every school.
