Mrs. Eddy grew up in Norridge, IL. She is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Special Education and the University of Phoenix where she earned her Master’s of Arts in Special Education. She currently is a special education teacher. As a special education teacher she has worked with students of all abilities from kindergarten to high school for the past 18 years. Currently, she works with students at the elementary school level and is the leader of her building’s Inclusive Practices Committee.
Since she became a parent in the district, Mrs. Eddy has been active in the PTO at John Jay Elementary, where she became an official member in 2018 serving as the PTO secretary and then co-President until 2023. She currently manages the yearbook at John Jay and is the PTO Treasurer for Holmes Junior High. She continues to serve and advocate for the CCSD59 community.
Mrs. Eddy and her husband, Neal, have lived in the CCSD59 community since 2012. Their daughter, Cole, is a student at Holmes Jr. High and their son, Cooper, is a dual language student at John Jay.
