Mrs. Eddy grew up in Norridge, IL. She is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Special Education and the University of Phoenix where she earned her Master’s of Arts in Special Education. She currently is a special education teacher. As a special education teacher she has worked with students of all abilities from kindergarten to high school for the past 18 years. Currently, she works with students at the elementary school level and is the leader of her building’s Inclusive Practices Committee.
Since she became a parent in the district, Mrs. Eddy has been active in the PTO at John Jay Elementary, where she became an official member in 2018 serving as the PTO secretary and then co-President until 2023. She currently manages the yearbook at John Jay and is the PTO Treasurer for Holmes Junior High. She continues to serve and advocate for the CCSD59 community.
Mrs. Eddy and her husband, Neal, have lived in the CCSD59 community since 2012. Their daughter, Cole, is a student at Holmes Jr. High and their son, Cooper, is a dual language student at John Jay.

La Sra. Eddy creció en Norridge, Illinois. Se graduó de Northeastern Illinois University con una Licenciatura en Educación Especial y de University of Phoenix donde obtuvo su Maestría en Educación Especial. Actualmente es maestra de educación especial. Como maestra de educación especial, ha trabajado con estudiantes de todos los niveles, desde kindergarten hasta escuela secundaria, durante los últimos 18 años. Actualmente trabaja con estudiantes de nivel primaria y es líder del Comité de Prácticas Inclusivas de su edificio
Desde que se convirtió en madre en el distrito, la Sra. Eddy ha estado activa en la PTO de John Jay Elementary School, donde se convirtió en miembro oficial en 2018, sirviendo como secretaria de la PTO y luego copresidenta hasta 2023. Actualmente administra el anuario en John Jay y es el tesorera de la PTO de Holmes Junior High. Ella continúa sirviendo y abogando por la comunidad CCSD59.
La Sra. Eddy y su esposo, Neal, han vivido en la comunidad CCSD59 desde 2012. Su hija, Cole, es estudiante en Holmes Jr. High y su hijo, Cooper, es estudiante de lenguaje dual en John Jay.
