This eighteen week studio course offers students an opportunity to explore a variety of two and three-dimensional media and techniques.
Students will explore various cultures and their crafts and famous artists and their works. The class is project based. Students will explore drawing, painting and sculpting with various materials. Some projects are shown here.
6th grade pinch pot fish
6th grade students will create several of the following:
- Pinch Pot
- Wheel Thrown Pot
- Color Wheel painted with watercolors
- Repousse of a landscape
- Japanese Notan paper cut
- Cubist Portrait
- Kaleidoscope of Names drawing
- Digital Pixel Drawing
- Stop Motion Animation
