About Art class…
Students in Art class will learn about famous artists, artistic movements, art of different cultures and various artistic methods. The class is project based.
Students in Art class are not usually given homework and are graded on their ability to meet project requirements, and the effort put into their work. Students are not graded on their artistic ability.
Art Supplies
Students will need to bring the following supplies to class with them on a daily basis:
- Several wood pencils
- Colored markers
- An eraser
- A set of at least 8 colored pencils
- Sharpie marker
- Glue sticks
- Students will be given a tote tray of their own in which to store their supplies and work. However, everything should be clearly labeled with a first and last name in ink.
